Cool places I’ve worked

Throughout my career I've been fortunate to work with some amazing teams and companies. Keep reading to see what we've done together!

LabJack Corporation

Manufacturing Lead

I worked for LabJack corresponding with PCBA manufacturers to aid in re-shoring efforts designing novel electronic measurement equipment and sensors

AgriGates

Hardware Engineering Lead

I helped AgriGates develop the next generation of precision livestock sensors. Together, we help animal science researchers better understand the animals they are studying and help farmers optimize their operations using data.

TNMRT Research

Mechatronics Engineer

At TNMRT, I designed custom research instruments, machines, and PCBs, as well as maintain pre-existing electronic devices within the lab. My work ranges from programming PLCs to wiring electrical cabinets, to sensors and integrated systems.

Denham Products

Electrical Engineer

I worked with Denham Products to help them design and manufacture PCBs and hardware prototypes.

Garmin International

Process Control Engineering Intern

My first corporate engineering job, I worked as an intern at Garmin to automate pre-existing airplane hardware lines, and maintain ABB robotic arms and swarms.

Urban Farming Guys

Makerspace Tech Manager “Intern++”

As an intern at UFG, I helped setup and run a community makerspace and design an automation system for their commercial greenhouse using Arduino.

Cool companies I’ve started

To pay my way through highschool and college, I’ve worked on several startups and contracting companies to help people develop prototypes for their products.

MR. INDUSTRIES

In partnership with my best friend, I created a new company called “Mister” Industries, focused on educating students with open-source electronics. Our flagship product “tinyCore” sold over 100 units and raised $22k in revenue, a significant amount for a senior design project.

McIntyre Industries LLC

McIntyre Industries is my LLC for YouTube and products I’ve designed and sold, including my custom soldering kits on my Etsy and Tindie store.

Prototypical Design Co.

Prototypical was my first engineering contracting company. I worked on over $100k in contracts working on products in medical, agricultural, and sensor industries.

Handy Dandy Designs

My first company was a graphic design, web design, and cinematography firm that I started in highschool. I worked mainly through Fiverr and Upwork.

Cool clients I’ve had

As a freelancer, I have worked with a wide variety of companies in many different industries

HapWare

I helped HapWare develop an integrated smart glasses prototype for helping the blind recognize facial expressions during conversation.

PRIME Robotics

I worked with PRIME robotics to diagnose electrical failures within their warehouse robotics platform and develop a plan to increase the robustness of their robot.

Orbital Mining Corporation

I worked with OMC to develop the first version of their custom LiPo battery management, which was designed to survive on the lunar surface. We won 2nd place (and $500k) from NASA for the designs.

Sustainable BioLabs

I worked with Sustainable BioLabs to create re-usable medical pipets out of advanced materials.

Halo Cybernetics

I helped Halo Cybernetics develop a reaction-wheel balancing belt for the elderly.
